stated in an interview that they will not handle the beloved Italian plumber in the same way as they did with Teen Titans Go.

Instead, they plan to deliver an authentic Super Mario experience that fans have not yet had.

Although the directors worked on the irreverent Teen Titans Go! show, they claim that they make new choices for each project depending on the audience and goals of the project.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be more faithful to the games than Teen Titans Go! and will feature a more active Princess Peach while Mario's brother, Luigi, is the one who needs saving from Bowser.

The movie is set to release in theaters on April 5th. Certainly! The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been in development for several years and is a highly anticipated project for fans of the iconic video game franchise.

The film will be produced by Illumination, the studio behind the popular Despicable Me and Minions movies, and will feature a mix of CGI and animation.

However, Horvath and Jelenic's comments about delivering an authentic Super Mario experience have helped to alleviate some of these concerns.
